Men's Sizing

Eastland shoes are designed to fit "True to Size". We recommend ordering your usual casual shoe size.

Occasionally, sizing for a unique Eastland shoe style may vary. If this is the case, we will have a "Fit Comment" in the product DETAILS tab. The "Fit Comment" will provide size suggestions for that style based on fit feedback we've received from other customers.

Leather Shoe Care

Eastland's casual shoes and boots are made from quality tanned leathers. To retain the natural character of the full grain leather, minor color variations, briar marks and scratches have not been buffed. Natural fats and oils contained within the leather may surface as a white film on the outside of a new shoe. This "bloom" is a natural mark of quality and can be cleaned with a damp cloth. Occasionally, some colors will transfer from the leathers to socks.

Our shoes are made for long lasting comfort and durability, but you can lengthen the lifetime and improve the fit of your new footwear with a few simple tips.

Leather Shoe Care Tips from Eastland Shoe:*

Clean and Polish leather shoes regularly with quality shoe care products, preferably all-natural products that allow leather to breathe. While Eastland does not endorse any particular brand of shoe care product, please note that silicone-based products sit on top of the leather and are not ideal. For everyday care, remove any dirt or dust with a damp cloth and let them air dry. Follow up with an oil sponge to restore the leather's natural luster.

Suede and Nubuck shoes should be treated before wearing with a protective spray to prevent water stains. Remove dirt and restore the nap of suede and nubuck with a suede brush. Condition oiled suede and nubuck regularly to keep them looking like new. Make sure that protective sprays and conditioners are made especially for suede and nubuck.

Waterproof your casual shoes and outdoor leather boots with a quality shoe care product to protect your footwear from water, snow and salt stains.

Condition your Eastland shoes to keep the leather soft and supple, to prevent cracks and to maintain a comfortable fit. Use quality leather conditioning oil or lotion.

Store your leather shoes on cedar shoe trees to absorb excess moisture and retain the shape of the leather. Do not put leather shoes near direct heat. Allow 12-24 hours between wearings for leather to completely dry.

Shoe Repair: Before minor problems become permanent damage, take your Eastland shoes to your local shoe repair shop.

*We recommend that if you do decide to use a polish, oil, or waterproofing product on your shoes that you first test it on a small area that is not very visible.
